Sphinx Polska began a project of separating and selling an organized part of the enterprise (ZCP) – the company said in a statement.

The project covers the Sphinx Polska activity conducted under the Sphinx brand, in particular: Sphinx trademarks, own restaurants run under this brand, Sphinx franchise agreements, lease, sublet agreement and other contracts related to the activities conducted under the Sphinx brand and resources assigned to this activity.

“The Management Board does not exclude the sale of ZCP to the subsidiary and the possibility for this subsidiary to obtain an investor interested in participating in the project” – it was written in a communiqué.

“The Issuer initially assumes the possible obtaining of funds from the implementation of the project at a level of not less than PLN 75 million corrected by the difference between the value of liabilities and receivables submitted to the ZCP (before taxing)” – added.

The company stated that the purpose of this operation is to terminate the implementation of the system adopted as part of the simplified restructuring procedure, enabling development in other areas of the company's operations and ensuring a faster pace of development of the Sphinx network.
