Shocking statements of those who witnessed the fatal accident on the pedestrian crossing in Bucharest: “The NA driver had no instinct to brake”

Several witnesses made statements about the tragedy produced last night on a pedestrian crossing, where two spouses who were crossing were shattered by a car driven by a 74 -year -old man. It seems that the driver would not have sketched any braking gesture before impact.

The moment of the accident was surprised by a surveillance camera. The two walk on the passage, and after only a few steps are hit in full by a car that speeds. Witnesses say the driver has not sketched any braking gesture before impact.

“I think he had over 100 km/h. The Na driver had no instinct to put a brake. The woman climbed up, fell on her asphalt, and the man, from the hood jumped on the rear, and entered the rear.” said a witness, according to Observer News.

Doctors intervened quickly, trying to resuscitate the man, but after tens of minutes of effort, he was declared dead.

The 74 -year -old driver suffered slight wounds. According to witnesses, the man seemed confused after the accident and asked for a napkin for a handwrite, without showing any remorse. Police tests showed that he had not consumed alcohol or psychoactive substances.

The area in which the accident occurred is considered dangerous by the locals. Another serious accident occurred on the same pedestrian crossing just a few months ago.

The driver is investigated for the guilty murder.
