Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said that housing input can be reduced by a third in 2027. He made such a forecast in an interview with Russia-24 television channel.

According to Khusnullin, there is a “bad tendency” related to the stop of new construction projects. He also noted that many developers began to slow down the rate of construction of the started facilities due to lack of funds on escrow accounts. This may lead to the fact that the planned deadlines for renting houses will be postponed to the next year.

“This means that in 2027 there will be no housing or there will be much less. This is the first alarming factor, ”said the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.

He noted that the government is developing measures to prevent such a scenario. Together with the governors, a number of steps have already been planned, which will prevent a serious reduction in housing construction.

In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed the hope that after the abolition of the commission, the mortgage would take more often, which will help to survive a difficult period.

We will remind, earlier, the Minister of Construction of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Mikhail Zskalko, said that this year a slight decrease in the construction of apartment buildings is expected compared to previous years.
