In Khakassia, pimps forced girls to provide sexual services for 14 years

In Khakassia, a group of 7 people will be tried who, since 2010, have lured women into prostitution, the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation said.
Six men and one woman were in the dock. They are accused of kidnapping, organizing and involving women in prostitution (clause “a” of part 3 of article 126, part 3 of article 240 and clauses “b”, “c” of part 2 of article 241 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to investigators, the organized group operated from 2010 to October 2024.
The victims of the attackers were 11 girls, one of whom was a minor. Between 2020 and 2024, two women were kidnapped “in order to suppress prostitution without the mediation of members of an organized group».
The girls worked both in specially rented premises and went to the homes of clients whom the pimps were looking for. Also, the 47-year-old organizer of the criminal group sent girls to work on the highway.
Investigators reported that the organizer of the group is in custody. The rest are under recognizance not to leave. The criminal case, together with the approved indictment, was sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
Previously, the court sentenced two other members of the criminal group to imprisonment from 3 years 3 months to 4 years with a suspended sentence.
