“Romania is increasingly attacked by extremist currents, even after choosing a pro-European president. We are facing an alarming growth of Russian-inspired neophancism, which makes its way through new public actions, sites, pages and propaganda channels. more visible.
The organization claims that, although informed in this regard, the police did not take measures.
“Although the Capital Police has been notified, it refuses to intervene on the grounds that a formal complaint has not been filed. So homophobic, transfobe, anti-lugbi messages are tolerated as long as no one is officially challenged?”, Asks Mozaiq representatives.
The organization announces that it will file a formal complaint and urges the supporters to participate in the Bucharest Pride march on Saturday, “to show that we are nowhere. Because we are Romanian, because we want rights and because we will not be silent in the face of hatred.”
