The president of Poland, the nationalist Karol Nawrocki, answered on Wednesday to the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, to the congratulation message sent a day ago, after his victory in the presidential elections on Sunday.
“Poland and Romania are not neighbors, but they remain close and I will do my best for our alliance and friendship to last,” Nawrocki wrote, in a message published on X.
“Please receive my greetings,” the response of the chosen president of Poland is also shown.

The nationalist candidate of the conservative opposition, Karol Nawrocki, won the presidential elections in Poland with 50.89% of the votes, in front of the pro-European candidate Rafał Trzaskowski, which Nicușor Dan supported including by his presence in Warsaw.
“Congratulations Karol Nawrocki for your electoral victory. I look forward to working with you to continue to strengthen the Strategic Romania-Polish partnership,” Nicușor Dan Marti said in a message on his X account.
