The police officers of the Poiana Brasov resort were notified on June 4, around 8:00 pm, by the representatives of Salvamont Poiana Brasov, regarding the fact that a person died in the Postăvarul Massif.

“Compared to the reported aspects, an operative team was constituted, which moved to the indicated area, respectively on the mountain path called” Road Red – Kanzel “in the resort, where a person was found without vital signs”, The County Police Inspectorate (IPJ) Brașov said.

The deceased person was identified as a 49 -year -old man residing in Bucharest. Prior to the occurrence of the death, the man would have told the people he was moving on a mountain path, that he does not feel good, according to IPJ Brașov.

The body was raised, taken over and transported by workers from the Brasov Forensic Medical Service in order to carry out the necropsy and establish the cause that led to the production of death.

In this case, the investigations are continued, in REM, in the aspect of committing the crime of murder. The investigations are carried out by the police under the coordination of a designated prosecutor within the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Brasov Court.
