The fee was 5 or 10 euros, with this higher amount by those who registered their arrival at the last minute. The announcement states that the total amount of payments was EUR 5.4 million.
Last year, when this system was inaugurated, 2.4 million euros received the city's coffers within 29 days. This is the first such experiment in the world, which is, among others, a response to the phenomenon of so -called excessive tourism.
