The speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory took part in the discussion of the prospects for the development of the Arctic

The chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexei Dodatko took part in a round table on the development of the support cities of the Arctic.
The event was held at the initiative of the State Duma Committee on the Development of the Far East and the Arctic. The Legislative Assembly was also represented by the Vice Speaker of the Parliament Dmitry Sviridov.
Participants discussed a wide range of topics: economics, infrastructure, social sphere, ecology and healthcare. Particular attention was paid to the plan of socio-economic development of Norilsk until 2035, including new projects, modernization of housing and communal services and the creation of a comfortable environment for residents of the Northern capital of the Territory. The key role in the implementation of these plans is played by Norkel.
A round table was held by the Hero of Labor, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Development of the Far East and Arctic, Nikolai Kharitonov. Representatives of the authorities, business and science participated in the discussion, which made it possible to consider problems from different points of view.
“Today, the Arctic is a strategically important region on which Russia's economy and security depend. The development of its potential requires a well -thought -out state policy, private investment and the introduction of innovative technologies, ”said Alexei Dodatko.
