Sejm Marshal Szymon Hołownia reported that he proposed to the prime minister to consider the application for a vote of confidence for the government at an additional sitting of the Sejm on June 10. He also announced that in the coming days, probably on Thursday, there should be another meeting of coalition leaders.

At Tuesday's briefing, Hołownia said that he managed to convince Prime Minister Donald Tusk to “wait a little” with the request he announced about the vote of confidence in the government. “Until we can show that we not only have the majority in the Sejm (…), but we will be able to show new quality” – he added.
“I offered the prime minister to consider his request for a vote of confidence at an additional sitting of the Sejm, which I would call for next Tuesday, June 10,” Hołownia said. As he pointed out, most of the parliamentary day – probably a few hours – will then be devoted to considering the application.
Hołownia also announced that in the coming days, probably on Thursday, there should be another meeting of coalition leaders. (PAP)
