Kiev hit Sunday on one of the elements of the Russian nuclear triad, which will look for retaliation – said Marcin Ogdowski, journalist of “Polish armed”, writer and war correspondent in an interview with PAP.

On Sunday, the President of Ukraine Wołodymyr Zelanski announced that 34 percent were destroyed or damaged in the operation of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) with the use of 117 drones. Russian strategic bombers.
“The Ukrainian army hit one of the elements of the Russian nuclear triad. After this attack, Russia still retains the ability to repel, but there is no more comfort as a few days ago,” noted the journalist of “Polish armed”.
According to Ogdowski, the Kremlin will strive for a military response to the Sunday action of Ukrainians. “This is a too severe blow to leave it without a reaction. Putin must show his own society, but also world public opinion that he draws consequences from such a bold attack on the nuclear power,” said the expert.
As the writer noted, the Ukrainians self -agreed to some extent on a Sunday attack on Russian aviation. “For example, they did not destroy a single Tu-160 aircraft; they hit a specific type of machines, Tu-95 and Tu-22M bombers, which usually participate in raids on Ukraine,” said Ogdowski.
According to him, it was deliberate: it was a task to the Russians of severe losses, but not enough to “reach for final funds” in response.
The expert also mentioned the information that the Western media recently published on the base around the city of Jasnyj in the Orenburg region at the border with Kazakhstan. He noted that leaked data exposes the Russian base to attack.
He emphasized that the base in Jasne is crucial from the point of view of Russian defense; From there, among others Intercontinental bullets are fired, the latest Russian nuclear head carriers are also stored there.
“Currently, nuclear weapons are the only military asset that makes Russia power,” said Ogdowski.
As the journalist added, one can talk about the compromise of Russian counterintelligence in connection with the leakage of a large number of secret information. “This compromise is even greater because it concerns a country that has very extensive special services, which in the past, which in the past is extremely effective,” said Ogdowski.
“The Sunday attack proves that Ukrainian special services operate in Russia very actively and are able to meet the most difficult challenges. Because such include planning and conducting an effective hit on a strategic object” – assessed the expert.
“Therefore, I would not be surprised if Kiev had very detailed information about the security of other key Russian nuclear objects,” added the interlocutor PAP.
