Karol Nawrocki became the winner of the second round of presidential elections in Poland, which took place on Sunday. According to the data of the State Electoral Commission, the candidate obtained 50.89 percent voteswhich allowed him to win a fierce election fight. His opponent, Civic Platform candidate Rafał Trzaskowski, obtained 49.11 percent. The difference between politicians was minimal and amounted to about 370 thousand. votes.

The consequences for Ukraine are obviousbecause Nawrocki undertook to block Kiev's efforts about NATO membership. In this way he tried to get the support of voters of the far -right candidate Sławomir Mentzen, who took third place in the first round of elections, obtaining 15.4 percent. votes.
