Six injured after a man threw Molotov's cockteils in the crowd attending a Colorado meeting

The suspect, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45 years old, shouted “Free Palestine” when he was seen throwing Molotov cocktails, FBI and the police said at a press conference.

The Israeli Foreign Minister calls the incident a “terrible anti -Semitic terrorist attack that concerns the Jews”

The officers say that the suspect was detained and six people were injured, the wounds ranging from “very serious” to lighter injuries.

The Attorney General of Colorado says that the attack “seems to be a motivated hatred” offense “

The FBI claims that the attack in Boulder, Colorado, was an “act of targeted violence” and investigates it as an “act of terrorism”.

What happened?

The suspect, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, is accused of using an “improvised flame thrower” and an “incendiary device” in attack. FBI claims that he cried “free Palestine”. There is no evidence that the suspect would be related to a larger group.

A group had gathered for a “peaceful, weekly, periodically scheduled” event, organized to increase the awareness of the Israeli hostages still held in Gaza.

Who are the victims?

There are six victims, between the ages of 67 and 88. They were all taken to the hospital with burns and other wounds. At least one of the victims is seriously injured.
