On Monday morning, the electoral commission announced the official results of Sunday voting in the presidential election. Karol Nawrocki obtained 10 million 606 thousand 877 votes (50.89 percent), while Rafał Trzaskowski 10 million 237 thousand 286 votes (49.11 percent).
The PiS president emphasized in a Monday statement that despite the huge imbalance, the presidential election was won by a candidate supported by PiS, i.e. Karol Nawrocki. According to him, several things influenced this result, including That the current authorities did not keep his promises.

Kaczyński emphasized that he was convinced that the idea would meet with the support of President Elekt Karol Nawrocki and the incumbent President Andrzej Duda. “There is only a question about whether those who are in power today want to continue the inner war and at the same time extremely awkwardly to rule, or whether they want to do something that will serve Poland, but in the long run they will probably also serve their political formation,” he added.
