“We will win and save Poland. We have to win this night! We will not be defeated,” said nationalist candidate Karol Nawrocki, in his first speech after announcing the results of the polls.
As he thanked his supporters, Nawrocki continued to attacked his political rivals because “they took our money, the institutions of the Polish state have unleashed, they lied.”
According to the Ipsos survey, the mayor of Warsaw obtained 50.3% of the votes, and the nationalist candidate Karol Nawrocki – 49.7%.
The second poll on the outskirts – OGB for Republica – confirms that the result is too tight to be able to pronounce a winner: Rafał Trzaskowski 50.17%, Karol Nawrocki 49.83%
