On Sunday, the Ukrainian special services carried out a massive drone attack on Russian military goals, lying far behind the front line. As part of the “Spajęczyna” campaign, SBU conducted attacks on four Russian airports in the towns of Biełaja, Diagilewo, Olenja and Iwanowo. Over 40 hostile aircraft were hit.

According to the Ukrainian information portal Glavcom.ua, citing Kiev's services, it was one of the most difficult special operations in terms of logistics. First, FPV drones were illegally smuggled into Russia, and then mobile wooden houses.
In the Russian Federation, drones were hidden under the roofs of these constructions, placed on trucks. At the right time, the roofs were remotely opened, and the drones headed towards their goals – strategic bombers at military airports.
As Gazeta.ua adds, the operation was prepared for a year and a half, and the action was personally commanded by the head of SBU, General Wasyl Maluk.

The Ukrainian blow was very successful. Kiev forces were destroyed by over 40 Russian aircraft, including Tu-95, Tu-22M3 long-range bombers and an aircraft of early A-50 warning. According to the Interfax-Ukraine agency, Russian losses are estimated at over $ 2 billion.
