Iran is getting closer to the production of nuclear weapons. The international agency alerts

As of May 17, the total amount of uranium enriched by Iran to 60 percent. It was 408.6 kg, which means an increase of 133.8 kg over the past three months. In the previous settlement period, from December to February, there was an increase of 92 kg – says one of the reports of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

According to Maea calculations, approx. 42 kg of uranium enriched in 60 percent. Theoretically, it is enough to produce one atomic bomb if it is enriched to 90 percent.

At the same time, the organization regretted the “unsatisfactory” cooperation with the Iranian side. She emphasized that the authorities in Tehran avoided answering and did not provide MAEA reliable technical information, which hindered the agency verification of data regarding three places: the Tehran Lawisan-Szian district, the city of Dwarmin and Turkuzabad. Iran has not yet commented on these reports.
