The court protected the business from illegal seizure: the work of a large enterprise was restored, mass media
The panel of judges of the Kyiv Court of Appeal, consisting of Tetyana Kaganovska, Valery Lashevych and Ivan Rybak, corrected the legal injustice – canceled the seizure of property of UNI STONE PLANET LLC, illegally imposed by the investigative judge of the Pechersk Court.
This decision allowed the enterprise to resume work, to return to work more than a thousand workers and to continue paying taxes to the country's budget.
“Criminal procedural law provides mandatory requirements that must be met by a petition for seizure of property, and in this case they were not met,” the court's decision says.
The owner of the group of companies is Ukrainian businessman Serhiy Shapran.
