Again, on the China-Us line. Beijing with a strong retort to Trump

According to CNBC, a spokesman for the Chinese embassy in the USA, Liu Pengyu, in an interview with NBC News, expressed his side's fears of Washington's actions. He noticed “US abuse of export control measures in semiconductor sector and other related practices”.

China described such actions as a blow to the foundations of economic and technological cooperation between these countries. However, it was not specified what exactly the United States took.

The background of the dispute is related to the decision of the American authorities in early May, when Huawei's imports and use of AI chips were banned by American entities. According to Beijing, this is another example of “abuse of export control” by the USA. Similar restrictions in the past forced Huawei to temporarily withdraw from the smartphone market. Today, the Chinese company is trying to rebuild forces by designing integrated circuits without the participation of American infrastructure or intellectual property.
