Superliga: U Cluj transferred a French footballer, a former teammate with macalou

The University of Cluj announced on Friday that it transferred to the defensive midfielder Mouhamadou Drammeh (26 years old).

The French footballer raised by Reims comes to the “U” from Sochaux, a band that evolves in the third echelon in Hexagon, writes the club in Superliga.

Born in Paris, Drammeh debuted at the senior level for the second team of Stade Reims, for which he evolved in the lower leagues between 2017 and 2020, managing to score five goals and offer a decisive pass.

In the 2020-2021 season, the new player of the university made his debut on the first team of Reims, in a Ligue 1 match against Lorient, lost with 1-3. In addition to this match, Drammeh has gathered five presence in that season on the first stage of French football.

The summer of 2021 brought a championship change for Drammeh, which made the transition to the Danish club of first league Velje Boldlub, for which he played, in the first season, in 27 games in all competitions. In the second season spent in Denmark, Drammeh and his colleagues brought Velje, relegated in 2022, in the elite of Danish football, winning the second league.

The French midfielder was an important piece in the team that managed to promote, because it contributed with five goals and six decisive passes in the 29 presented presence in that season.

Although the 2023-2024 season began in Velje, the footballer in the capital of France returned at the end of August in his native country, in Sochaux. In the first season of return, Drammeh has evolved for both the first team and the second band of yellow-blue.

In the recently completed competition year, he played in 24 matches for the third -party echelon, succeeding. At Sochaux, Drammeh was a colleague with the current player of the university, Ivorian Isosouf Macalou.
