Inflation in May once again was below the analysts' forecasts – wrote the finance minister Andrzej Domański on Platform X. In his opinion, a reduction in gas prices, which will enter into force in July, will further reduce the path of inflation in the following months.


Prices of consumer goods and services in May 2025 increased by 4.1 percent. In an annual basis, and compared to the previous month, they fell by 0.2 percent. – The Central Statistical Office said on Friday on Friday. The Energy Regulatory Office announced on Thursday about the approval of the new PGNiG tariff from which the gas price will drop from the current PLN 239.65 per MWh to PLN 204.26 per MWH net.
