Constantin Toma says that he was called by mayors who support his point of view, that PSD must be part of the future government: “Back to work and offer support for reform”.

On Thursday, at the end of the meeting of the Buzău Municipal Local Council, Mayor Constantin Toma said that “it is mandatory” for PSD to enter the government.

“(…) I am called by a lot of people, I talk about mayors in Romania who agree with my position. Enter the job and offer support for the reform, because this team of PSD negotiators is the best team of Romania. The PSD leadership is taught to negotiate extraordinarily, it is not very good at the reform. Buzău.

The PSD mayor believes that “the only prime minister's variant is Ilie Bolojan”, saying that in the elections of May 18, the Romanians voted, practically, the tandem Nicușor Dan President-Ilie Bolojan Premier.

Toa has launched a new attack on the PSD leadership, which he said he hopes for at the next Congress of the Party “to take the back and leave another team to deal to exist”: “PSD has at that time a problem of credibility, has lost many of the voters, who went to gold or to Victor Ponta. Occupy to exist, because at this time the PSD is set on self -destruction. “

As for Marcel Ciolacu, the mayor of the PSD believes that the former PSD leads have no political future: “From my point of view it has no future in Romanian politics. Everyone has a problem of credibility, and I have a problem of credibility. When you lose four rows of choices in a row you have to give yourself more steps.”

The PSD participates in the discussions with Nicușor Dan about the government program, but so far the party has not announced whether it will enter the Government or not. “We are interested in the government program, the measures that will have to be taken by the Government. If we are in an area in which we agree that those measures are the necessary ones, yes, we will take the next step, we will submit this option to enter the government,” said the interim president of the PSD on Wednesday, Sorin Grindeanu, after a delegation was in the party. He said that such a decision will be made after “a wide consultation” in the PSD, with the mayors, with the heads of county councils, with the parliamentarians.
