In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 11 foreigners lost citizenship for serious and especially serious crimes. This was reported by the regional police.

Thus, a 47-year-old foreigner was convicted of three serious articles: storage or distribution of a large batch of drugs, the organization of a criminal community and washing money. The man lost not only a passport, but also freedom for 19 years and 2 months. He was also obliged to pay a fine of 900 thousand rubles.

In total, for crimes related to the storage or distribution of drugs, passports were seized from eight inhabitants of the region. All of them received a real term.

After serving a sentence, each of the convicts is obliged to leave the country's territory.

Recall that for the first time such a measure as the termination of citizenship for committing serious and especially serious crimes, in our region, was applied in December 2023, after A couple of months after entering into force New Federal Law “On citizenship of the Russian Federation.”
