Changes in the Feng program were approved. New funds


The Feng program, which is a continuation of earlier editions supporting innovations, will gain another element that is to respond to the needs of the development of Polish companies in key sectors of the economy. “The European Commission has adopted changes in the Feng program. We are opening a new stage in the support of Polish entrepreneurship!” – she announced on platform X, giving details about the new fund.

Funds for innovation
The minister emphasized that the Critical Technology Support Fund will be addressed to enterprises implementing innovative research and development projects and investments in strategic industries. Particular attention was paid to such fields as biotechnologies, digital technologies with an emphasis on cyber security, as well as innovations related to ecology and resource saving.
In autumn, it is planned to launch another initiative under the Feng – Fund for Digital and Environmentally Friendly Transformation. The project worth PLN 800 million is to support enterprises striving to increase their competitiveness by implementing new digital and energy technologies.
In one of the previous statements published in May, Minister Pełczyńska-Nałęcz announced that in addition to the fund for critical technologies and digital transformation, two other significant programs will be created: the Safety and Defense Fund and the credit guarantee mechanism for enterprises. The total value of these intentions is nearly PLN 9 billion, and the funds will come from the support of European funds and the national reconstruction plan.
The Feng program for 2021-2027 is a continuation of successful initiatives, such as the innovative economy (2007-2013) and intelligent development (2014-2020). Its main goal is to support scientific research, innovation and implementation of advanced technologies in Polish enterprises.
