A famous actress says she's more quiet living as a mother in Dubai than in New York or Los Angeles

American actress Lindsay Lohan says she has less worry and is easier to respect her mother's routine while living in Dubai, Business Insider reports.
Lohan, who had announced in 2023 that she was pregnant, brought to the world a son, took, in July 2023, along with her husband, Bader Shammas, a financier and banker born in Kuwait. The two met in Dubai forming a 2020 couple and married in 2022.
“I like to have a routine and I like the programs. So my morning routine [este]: I wake up, write in the journal, sip my green tea, have breakfast with my son. And then Pilates, I assure that I do not miss [ședințele]”Lohan said in an interview published by Elle magazine on Tuesday.
She explained that since she became a mother, her daily life spins around her family and especially around her son.
“Everything is about balance and, as I said, routine. Especially when you have a child, the routine is the most important thing. And any routine has, I have to adapt to it,” said the actress who at one point was one of the most sought after Hollywood.
Lohan says it's hard as a mother in Hollywood
She explained in the new interview that it is difficult for her to maintain her routine whenever she is in Los Angeles because of paparazzi photographers.
“It's hard in Los Angeles. Even when I take my son to the park, I stress. I think, 'I'm photographers?' In New York, I'm not worry; nobody bothers us. Everyone has his job,” Lohan said.
She said she prefers quiet moments in New York, but that Los Angeles, the city of California that hosts Hollywood, has good parts – such as “all that space.”
“But as I say this, I realize that the funny part is that in Dubai I have all these things. I have privacy, I have peace, I have no space. I do not have to worry there; I feel safe,” Lohan said.
The actress moved to Dubai more than a decade ago
Lohan moved to Dubai in 2014, withdrawing from the light of Hollywood reflectors after years of intense public exposure. Business Insider recalls that in the United Arab Emirates, it is illegal to photograph or film someone without his consent, even in public spaces.
In an interview with Bustle magazine in March last year, Lohan reported that she left the US because she felt her work was shaded by paparazzi.
“I feel that this whole thing has gained my own life. That's why I wanted to disappear. I thought:” If there is no story, then they will not focus exclusively on my work, “Lohan said.
Lohan is not the only Hollywood celebrity who talked about leaving Los Angeles due to safety issues and respect for private life.
Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake left the city to protect their children from paparazzi. Since 2018, the two live largely in the states of Tennessee and Montana.
Richard Gere said he was happier than ever after leaving the US, but he made the decision because of his wife's desire to be closer to her family.
