The cunning foreigner fictitiously prescribed children in the “profitable” area of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

In Yenisesk, the Krasnoyarsk Territory of the native of Tajikistan was convicted of fictitious registration of their children for the sake of benefits.
It was established that in October 2023, a 27-year-old foreigner received Russian citizenship and learned that residents of territories with special climatic conditions have advantages.
“He himself registered recently and only formally in Yeniseisk, and lived in Krasnoyarsk along with his three minor children. But in order to receive benefits for them in an increased amount, he submitted documents to the MFC and fictitiously registered children in the village of Potapovo, Yenisei district. Having made a temporary residence permit for them in the area equated to the Far North, the man received a monthly allowance for the whole year, taking into account the district coefficient and northern allowances, causing the regional budget for damage in the amount of 280 thousand rubles, ”the prosecutor's office said.
Under Article 322.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the court sentenced a man to a fine of 15 thousand rubles, and registration records were canceled.
In addition, a criminal case of fraud upon receipt of payments is investigated in relation to him (part 3 of article 159.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
