Snakes in the country are not a myth and not uncommon: what actually lures the viper directly to the beds

The summer season is in full swing, but together with strawberries and barbecue on the site, uninvited guests may appear – eji and vipers. Ngs.ru (16+) told why the snakes climb into the sites, and how to drive them quickly and without harm.

How to scare off the snakes

So that the snakes go around your site, there are several simple steps:

Disassemble the blockages of boards, old furniture and garbage – without shelters, the snakes will be uncomfortable. Less mice – less snakes. Keep food in containers, remove open compost heaps. Inspect them regularly to prevent snakes from arranging a lair there. Mow the lawn so that the snakes have nowhere to hide.

Why don't you kill snakes

Vipers are not the most sociable neighbors, but also rarely settled next to people. If the viper started up, then a maximum of one – two, they themselves drive competitors.

And most importantly: do not kill the snakes! This is not only inhuman, but can also harm. Kill a couple of snakes – several young people can crawl in their place, and the site will become a snake lasse.

An interesting fact

Vipers are homebody. They can live in one place up to 12 years, without changing the “apartment” with a radius of 100 meters. So, if the snake has chosen your site, it is easier to make it uncomfortable for it than to fight.

Plant garlic, onions or marigolds around the perimeter of the site – snakes do not like their pungent smell. If there is a pond, remove foliage and garbage around – snakes love to hide from reservoirs. Saw the snake? Do not touch, but better call specialists.

Remove the trash, follow the rodents – and enjoy in the summer without surprises!
