Lithuania gave the protest note to the representative of the Russian embassy. It's about Russian crimes

“On May 27, a representative of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Lithuania, who was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was transferred to a protest note against the ongoing war crimes committed by the Russian armed forces” – emphasized the Lithuanian authorities in the communiqué
“The guilty of these crimes will sooner or later be held responsible”
“Lithuania strongly condemns the murders of unarmed Ukrainian prisoners of war and the intensified firing Ukrainian cities with rockets and unmanned aerial vehicles. These attacks cause death and serious injuries to innocent civilian people, including children, and destroy civil infrastructure” – reads on the website of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Lithuanian ministry emphasizes that Russia's actions are recognized as war crimes and are not time -barred, and “everyone guilty of these crimes will sooner or later be held responsible for their actions.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also reminded that Russia ignored the calls to a 30-day ceasefire. In this way, according to the Lithuanian authorities, Moscow “demonstrates an aggressive attitude to the continuation of the war, which she began, and at the same time rejects the efforts of the international community aimed at stopping killing the Ukrainian population.”
“Lithuania will continue to fully support Ukraine's efforts to defend against invaders,” the ministry assures.
On Sunday, May 25 in the evening, the Russian army fired a record number of drones from the beginning of the full -scale invasion towards Ukraine. In the morning rockets appeared in the airspace. As a result of the attack, there was damage in many regions. Russia killed a dozen civilians.
