A resident of Krasnoyarsk was sentenced to four years in prison for a series of thefts. This was reported by the press service of the regional police.

It all started in early November 2023, when a woman kidnapped a phone worth 10 thousand rubles from a 44-year-old Krasnoyarsk. The stranger met a man in a hostel on the landing and asked him a mobile phone to call his father. However, having received the phone into her own hands, she tried to escape. Robbery was prevented by a neighbor who caught a woman.
The police arrived at the place found out that they had detained the previously convicted 28-year-old Krasnoyark. She said that she came in a hostel to warm up and steal something. It turned out that in a couple of months the woman committed seven crimes, including stole a cell phone and money from her father and three more strangers. The total damage amounted to about 65 thousand rubles.
Investigators opened criminal cases of robbery, fraud and theft. The Kirovsky District Court found Krasnoyarsk guilty and sentenced her to imprisonment for a period of 4 years with serving a sentence in a penal colony of general regime. The sentence entered into force.
