“JDM: Japanese Drift Master” on the Steam bestseller list. We know how many games were sold

The total number of copies of the JDM game sold: Japanese Drift Master amounted to 65,000 plays, Gaming Factory said in a communiqué. The company estimates that at the current sales rate, the full refund of production and marketing costs should take place within a few weeks.

JDM: Japanese Drift Master premiered on Steam, Epic, GOG on May 21, 2025.

The company said that the game on the first day hit the list of global bestsellers of the Steam platform. The number of copies sold on this platform exceeded 56,000, and on the others in total amounted to about 9,000. copies.

“In the opinion of the company's management board, the sale of the game in the first days after the premiere will allow to make up for the costs of production and marketing in the perspective of several weeks, and the high level of Wishlista and positive players' ratings will allow for long -term JDM sales: Japanese Drift Master. In the following months the company plans to update the game based on Roadmapa and the waiting of the players and releasing the version on the console” communication.

Gaming Factory announced that on April 30, 2025, the total cost of producing the game amounted to PLN 10.82 million, while the marketing budget below PLN 1 million. The costs of PLN 5.88 million were covered in the form of advances, by a foreign co -publisher – 4Divinity from the GCL Asia group. (PAP Biznes)
