A 66-year-old female driver overturned with her car after hitting a pole on Constantin Brâncoveanu Boulevard, in Bucharest

A 66-year-old woman was involved, on Saturday morning, in a road accident on Constantin Brâncoveanu Boulevard in Bucharest, after she lost control of the steering wheel, hit a public lighting pole, and the car overturned on its roof.

“This morning, around 07:00, the Road Brigade was alerted by calling 112 regarding the occurrence of a traffic accident that took place on Constantin Brâncoveanu Boulevard, in Sector 4. According to the first information, the driver of a vehicle, a 66-year-old woman, who was traveling on Constantin Brâncoveanu Boulevard from Luică Street to Olteniţei Highway, lost control over the direction of travel and hit a street light pole and then flipped onto the ceiling,” the Road Brigade sent.
As a result of the impact, there were no casualties, only material damage.
The woman behind the wheel was referred to the Minor Accidents Office for the preparation of the verification documents. The police tested her with the Alcooltest device, the result being 0.
Road traffic was restricted on the first lane of Constantin Brâncoveanu boulevard so that the intervention teams could remove the lighting pole from the roadway.
