Which competitions are the most susceptible to automation?


In the latest Work Trend Index 2025 report, Microsoft announces the birth of the so -called The frontier of companies – organizations that are based on the cooperation of people and AI agents. 82 percent Business leaders around the world believe that this is a breakthrough moment for strategies and work organization. In Poland, as much as 84 percent Companies are planning to implement agents into everyday processes in the next 12-18 months – from customer service to data analysis.
Microsoft defines a new type of role: Agent Boss – an employee who does not do everything alone, but manages AI agents like a team. The data shows that 41 percent Managers expect to manage agents in the next five years.
Jobboard for agents and a calculator for employees
In December 2024, two Polish artists, Kamil Stanuch and Łukasz Wróbel, launched “job for agent”: the first platform in Europe where ads can be published only for AI agents.
“We noticed the gap: the creators of the agents did not know where to implement them, and the companies did not know what AI could be useful,” Stanuch said in an interview with Business Insider.
The platform began as an experiment, but it quickly turned out that it hit a real niche. Offers appeared on the website, among others for digital podcast editors, SEO specialists or contract lawyers together with the offered salary.
The creators also provided a simple calculator on the site, which shows what percentage of work AI can take over. Just paste the link to the job announcement or enter the main tasks in the position that the tool estimates the potential of automation.
How does it work? Something more than a divination from the algorithm
The automation calculator is based on a specific mathematical formula. Each task is assessed at an angle:
- complexity,
- error risk,
- needs of interaction with people,
- and the participation of physical work.
The automation indicator is created from this data, which is then scaled – depending on whether it is physical or mental work. Data analysis obtains as much as 92 percent. Automation potential, because AI copes well with numbers, does not need interaction and does not require physical work.
The results are presented in the form of a potential automation indicator, which means that the tasks can be delegated to delegate artificial intelligence.
The creators of the calculator emphasize: this is not a forecast for the liquidation of the competition, but the transformation indicator. A high result is a signal that it is worth looking at your competences and develop those that AI will not replace.
How much work can an agent take over?
With the help of a jobforagent calculator, I analyzed the scope of potential automation of ten professions representing various industries – from finance and HR, through education, to journalism and healthcare. After pasteing the link, the calculator analyzed each of the job offers for requirements, tasks and competences, and then assessed their susceptibility to automation on a five -level scale. Based on these results, he calculated the average potential of automation of each profession.
Junior HR Specialist: 4.1/5 – large field for automation. Preparation of contracts, initial CV selection, onboarding – these are tasks that AI agent can take over almost entirely.
Independent accountant: 3.1/5 – automation works well when issuing invoices or generating reports, but the analysis of the tax situation or interpretation of the provisions still requires a human factor.
Journalist (Business and finance): 3.0/5 – AI can summarize reports, facilitates research and correction, but will not replace conversations with an expert, selection of a topic or building a narrative.
Polish language teacher: 3.3/5 – creating materials, stacking tests, hints for lessons – this can be automated. But a student is not a user – conducting conversations, observing emotions and responding to the needs of the class are on the side of the human.
Environmental nurse: 2.5/5 – documentation, reminders, analysis of medical data? Yes. But the care of the patient in his home is the world of decisions, observations and relationships – the agent can only assist.
The page additionally contains tips explaining what to do with this knowledge. It is not about creating a list of endangered professions, but a map that will show where technology can relieve us and where you need to learn to cooperate with it.
That the agent can take over 40-70 percent. tasks, does not mean that you have to retrain. On the contrary, the ability to cooperate with the agent is becoming more and more important. Knowledge about which tasks can be delegated, how to specify requirements and how to control quality, it is gaining importance. Microsoft indicates this competence as one of the key in the coming years.
