But that's not all …

In fact, even a series earn more. Take, for example, a housing benefit, which – as the Ministry of National Defense specifies – is entitled to a professional soldier for the duration of service in a given town.

Currently, the amount of this benefit depends on the place of service. In Warsaw it is the highest and amounts to 1.5 thousand. zloty. In Bialystok, it is a little over 1.1 thousand. PLN, and in Krakow – PLN 960.

Except that the rules are to change since July. “Housing benefits will be paid from July 1 every month. Their amount will depend on the location and will be from 900 to 1800 PLN per month. They will be exempt from tax, and officers will be able to allocate funds, including for renting premises or paying off a mortgage,” said the government.

A housing benefit is certainly a very attractive addition to a considerable soldier's salary. But it's still not all. Thirteen can be no less incentive to join the army.

As the Press Office of the Ministry of National Defense explains to us, The right to a thirteenth salary is acquired by a professional soldier if he performed professional military service for at least 6 calendar months.

Thirteen can be lost, for example, if you get a disciplinary penalties, if only in the case of unjustified absence in service for more than two business days during the calendar year.

An additional salary is not over. – You can write about military accessories not so much a book as a whole series of books – tells us a private soldier who prefers to remain anonymous.

Some add-ons are intended for specially trained soldiers, for example F-16 pilots. Here, the money paid depends, among others from the function or number of hours flying. There are accessories that most soldiers can apply for.

As the military tells us, for example A allowance for five from PE, which is PLN 200 or for six with opinions (PLN 400). Such an supplement is then added to each soldier's salary.

The list of soldier bonuses is long and there are also bonuses for performing specific tasks. – Sapper soldier for e.g. cleaning the area can have an increased amount due by 0.01 the lowest salary for each day of performing these tasks – explains the Ministry of National Defense.

– Soldiers participating in patrols may have increased receivables in the range from 0.1 to 0.3 of the lowest salary – add representatives of the ministry.

Some military men also get money for many years of service, there is also a “special supplement” awarded primarily by commandos. However, it is difficult to give the average monetary values ​​of such bonuses. Everything depends, among others from the nature of the service or internship in uniform. Sometimes “harmfulness and nuisance of service” also influence.

Even at the end of service, a soldier can sometimes count on money for “excrement”. It is about the so -called housing briefing. It can be tens of thousands of zlotys, it can be over 100,000 It all depends on a number of factors – there is even a special calculator for calculating severance pay.
