The head of the Kiev Military Administration Timur Tkaczenko cited by the Reuters agency announced that two fires broke out in the Światoszyńska District. Fragments of the shot down drones also fell to the ground in three other districts of the Ukrainian capital.
“The remains of an unmanned aircraft fell to the top floor of a residential building in the Sołomenska district. Emergency services were directed to this place,” wrote Klitschko on the Telegram platform.
An anti -alarm was announced in Kiev and the surrounding area. Vitaly Kliczko emphasized that the city was attacked by at least 40 drones and rocket missiles. At the same time, he warned against possible Russian air attacks and appealed to the residents to go to shelters.
The former deputy minister of internal affairs of Ukraine Anton Heraszczenko posted a photo of the burning Kiev in social media. “Eight wounded. Several residential buildings were hit with rubble. Anti -aircraft defense all the time in action. Loud explosions can be heard in the city. Today we will not sleep” – writes the politician.
