In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Tuva and Khakassia can launch screen planes. The corresponding investment project was published on the website of the Development Corporation of Yenisei Siberia.
The project involves a high -speed year -round river message. The initiator of the project plans to use The ekranoplan “Ivolga”. This vessel moves on the air pillow above the surface of the water.
“The project involves the construction of production premises, navigation tower on the site of the main base in Krasnoyarsk, the arrangement of navigation systems and runways. Among the advantages are the absence of similar services in the regions of Yenisei Siberia, the possibility of creating an alternative transportation system, ”the report said.
The Ivolga holds 12 passengers and 1200 kg of cargo and is served by a crew of 2 people. It can move at a speed of up to 220 km \ hour. The flight passes at an altitude of 80 cm above the water, its range is up to 1200 km. In the air, the screen can last up to 6 hours.
Initially, the Ivolga was developed to ensure the activities of law enforcement and environmental structures.
