The kitten was found on the street in serious condition and placed under the care of the Foundation “A piece of happiness for a homeless cat”. Sonya spent 3 weeks in the hospital, where she made several surgical treatments of wounds in her mouth and removed inflammation. All this time, the baby eats through a tube in the esophagus and so she has to live for at least another month – until it grows soft tissues in her mouth so that they can close the hole in the palate. About a quarter remained from the tongue, so Sonya can eat herself. The accounts from the clinic are huge.
