The prosecution took the stand in the Savelovsky Court. The prosecutor requested that the blogger be found guilty under the articles “tax evasion”, “money laundering”, “illegal turnover of funds” and sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony. According to the prosecutor, Elena had intent, she was aware of all the financial fraud, and also acquired a number of legal entities in order to split up the business in a simplified manner.
Blinovskaya has been in custody for more than a year; the last time the Moscow City Court left her in pre-trial detention until May 2.
