Political ads financed from abroad on Facebook
Last Wednesday, a scientific and academic computer network (NASK) announced a possible attempt to interfere in the election campaign – it was about political advertising on Facebook, which could be financed from abroad. ABW was informed about the case. Advertising accounts involved in the campaign in the last 7 days were to spend more on political materials than any election committee. According to NOK, these activities were supposed to seem to support one of the candidates and discredit others.
“The campaigns implemented by advertising accounts concerned especially Rafał Trzaskowski, Karol Nawrocki and Sławomir Mentzen” – stated in a statement.
