The Metallica band will perform on the stage of the National Arena, on May 13, 2026. The concert is part of the European Tournament M72, and special guests are Gojirra and Knocked Loose, according to iabilet.ro, reports news.ro.
Metallica announced on Thursday that the M72 world tour will continue for the fourth consecutive year, with 16 concerts in continental Europe and the United Kingdom, in May, June and July 2026.
In Bucharest, Metallica will arrive on May 13, 2026, “bringing a spectacular production, with a circular scene located in the center of the land on the National Arena,” according to the organizers. The troops that will open the concert in the capital are Gojira and Knocked Loose.

Tickets will be put up for sale on Friday, May 30, at 10:00, and the pre-Sale for Fan Metalica club members starts on May 27, at 11:00.
BCR Mastercard card owners will have a presale with exclusive access from the George application, starting with May 27, 2025, at 12:00. Emagic customers can access tickets in the press on May 29, at 10:00, based on the unique code they will receive by email.
“For this event, tickets with general access will be available in the lawn area (unique category), seat tickets in the three rings of the stadium, as well as special packages Enhanced Experiences, which offer exclusive benefits,” the website iabilet.ro shows.
The ticket price has not yet been announced.
Metallica last concerted in Romania on August 14, 2019, but the band also came in 1999, 2008 and 2010 in Bucharest.
