The US is ready to discuss Russia's demands in the NATO case. Gen. Kellogg spoke

In an interview with ABC News, Kellogg confirmed that the administration of Donald Trump is considering fulfilling Russia's postulate regarding stopping NATO's further expansion to the East. His words show that the American side considers Moscow's fears to be “completely justified”. “Russia always raises this issue. They argue not only in connection with Ukraine, but also remember Georgia and Moldova. They claim that this is a matter of their security. Our answer is: we can discuss the retention of NATO expansion to their borders” – he noted.
Vision of Ukraine in NATO. “It is not currently on the table”
The message of General Kellogg also refers to the issue of Ukraine's accession to NATO, which, as he emphasized, is currently not the subject of negotiations. As he explained, there is no unanimity among the members of the Alliance.
“We have repeatedly pointed out that Ukraine membership in NATO is currently not on the table. At least four alliance countries share this position,” noted the general.
