The Act adopted on Wednesday by the Sejm prohibits the sale of all types of e-cigarettes to minors. The sale of e-cigarettes without nicotine and nicotine pouches at a distance, including via the Internet, as well as their advertising.

417 deputies voted for the adoption of the government amendment to the Act on health protection against the consequences of using tobacco and tobacco products. There was one against and 10 abstained.
Now the Senate will deal with the law.
Just before voting for a rostrum – with a question – the MP Katarzyna Sójka (PiS) entered the minister of health, who said, among others, that “the National Health Fund officially admits that there is a lack of funds for surplus as part of unlimited benefits.” Asked by Szymon Szymon Hołownia, which is related to the project, she continued her speech.
Sójka said, among others, that “minister (health, Izabela – PAP) Leszczyna has not been able to launch PLN 3 billion from the Medical Fund for Psychiatry for a year.” Asked further about the relationship of the statement with the project, she assured that “there is sense here, please let me finish”.
Ultimately, however, Hołownia twice “recalled to the point” MP, and then took her voice, which met with the applause of some deputies.
First reading in the Sejm changes in the so -called The tobacco act took place at the beginning of February. Detailed consideration of the project was suspended for three months due to the need to notify the project in the European Commission.
Government draft amendment to the so -called tobacco laws introduces a ban on the sale of all types of electronic cigarettes and spare containers to people under 18 years of age, regardless of whether the product has nicotine in the composition or is not.
Nicotine bags to people under 18, as well as their sale in entities performing medical activities, schools and educational institutions, sports and recreation facilities, in vending machines and self-service systems are also to be banned.
The project also introduces a ban on the sale of e-cigarettes without nicotine and nicotine bags at a distance, including via the Internet, and a ban on advertising them.
In addition, it assumes that the use of electronic cigarettes with non -nicotin fluid (secreting a few non -contributing nicotine) will be prohibited in public places, where the use of electronic cigarettes with a liquid containing nicotine is currently forbidden. These are schools and kindergartens, public transport stops, restaurants and playgrounds for children.
The Ministry of Health has prepared another project of changes in the so -called tobacco act. It prohibits the sale of disposable e-cigarettes and taste nicotine sachets and the sale of products that are not covered by the Act.
