The increases result from the increase in the average salary in the national economy, which, according to the data of the Central Statistical Office (CSO) of February 11, 2025, in 2024 amounted to PLN 8,181.72. This is an increase of 14.34 percent Compared to the previous year, which translates into a difference of PLN 1026.24.
The CSO data shows that 720 089 people are employed in the Polish health care sector. Among them are:
– 141 thousand doctors,
– 37 thousand dentists,
– 216 thousand nurses and midwives,
– 75 thousand physiotherapists.
The minimum wage of doctors with a specialization will increase to PLN 11,863 gross, while pharmacists and laboratory diagnosis will earn at least PLN 8345 gross.
Earnings in healthcare from July 1, 2025. How much doctors and nurses earn?
According to WNP.pl, from July 1, 2025, nurses and midwives:
– with a master's degree and specialization should earn a minimum PLN 10,554.42 (increase by PLN 1,323.85);
– with a master's degree or with a specialization (without a master's degree) should earn a minimum PLN 8,345.35 (increase by PLN 1,046.76);
– with a bachelor's degree or secondary education (without specialization) should earn a minimum PLN 7,690.82 (increase by PLN 964.67).
– doctor or dentist with specialization: PLN 11,863.49;
– doctor or dentist without specialization: PLN 9,736.25;
– pharmacist, physiotherapist, laboratory diagnostician, clinical psychologist: PLN 10,554.42;
– intern: PLN 7,772.63;
– physiotherapist, paramedic, electroradiologist technician, medical analytics technician with secondary or 1st degree education, without specialization: PLN 7,690.82.
