Norilsk Nickel signed an agreement on participation in the creation and development of the cluster of secondary vocational education in the framework of the federal project “Professor”. The company became his industrial partner.
The cluster will work since 2026 and will help develop personnel potential and form an effective system for training personnel for the metallurgical industry in Norilsk and Taimyr. In addition to the Norilsk Nickel, the Norilsk College of Industrial Technology and Service, the Taimyr College from Dudinka, as well as the only university in the university, will participate in the creation of the cluster. Deputy Minister of Education of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Tatyana Gridasova noted that the project is of tremendous importance for the professional training of students. It is aimed at ensuring that the guys at the college training stage understand what production is, and could apply the knowledge gained at the workplace. The creation of a cluster will help improve the material and technical base of educational institutions. Then students will immediately learn to work on the equipment that they could only get acquainted with production before.
“A close bunch of production and educational process suggests that graduates who will go to enterprises will really be ready. Then the enterprises will not need to waste time and effort to re -render you a young specialist. The whole point of professionality is that the graduate is a ready -made specialist, he came to production and immediately began to work, ”Tatyana Gridasova emphasized.
Since 2023, 13 Clusters of the Professor program appeared in the Krasnoyarsk Territory: 6 in the federal and 7 in the regional project. All these clusters have already shown their effectiveness.
The significance of the project was noted by the Deputy Director of the Norilsk Nickel of the Norilsk Norkel branch Anastasia Perfilieva.
“Why did Norkel become part of the educational cluster? The company is very actively developing. We have a large number of projects that we implement on the territory. This is the construction, and the objects of renovation, and the modernization of mining and metallurgical production … It is extremely important that education does not lag behind the pace that the professional sector is moving today. A huge contribution to this activity should be made by institutions of secondary vocational education, because enterprises need highly qualified specialists adapted to Norilsk Nickel technologies. This is the main salt of the project. The guys are considering their profession with a debt for the future in Norilikla, in accordance with our development strategy. They develop their skills in qualifications in parallel with the projects that the employer implemented in the territory, ”she explained.
After completing the training, young people will remain in Norilsk, where the company guarantees them the provision of jobs.
The project to create 14 cluster of the Professor program in the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be implemented with the money of the federal and regional budgets, as well as the Norilsk Nickel funds as an industrial partner. They will go to the modernization of the material and technical base of educational institutions, the creation of new laboratories that meet modern requirements, the development of new programs oriented to the future.
“New processes are launched: we implement a large -scale sulfur program, for example. Within its framework there are even such professions that are not yet contained in classifiers and reference books. There are no analogues in the country of such production. And the guys who will be released from our metallurgical cluster will become almost the only ones in Russia who will master such specialties, ”said Anastasia Perfilieva.
The terms of the project are about two years, depending on the training program. Thus, by 2028, the production fronts of the polar branch will be enriched with highly qualified specialists trained according to the latest requirements for the educational process at interesting training bases.
