Russian players of PS registered as Ukrainians. Sony got their nose

According to the Sunday post on a telegram published by Mash Forta, PlayStation is flooded with complaints from Russian users who have lost access to their accounts.
One of the screenshots of the screen attached to the post shows how the Russian user who created a false Ukrainian account, complains about losing access to the products he purchased.
“In April, I set up a new Ukrainian account, new, to my e -mail, I topped up several times through the Avito channel to the PS store's portfolio, I didn't have time for subscription, I saved money on my portfolio, and on May 16 I was banned together with the console” – wrote the user, referring to the Russian online store called Avito.
The Japanese video games giant took steps to suspend the physical or online sales of video games in Russia in March 2022 after Russia's invasion of Ukraine on a full scale. Russian users have No PlayStation accounts in the Russian Federation. They often record accounts in other countries to circumvent the ban.
In January, the European Union proposed to introduce a ban on the sale of video game controllers and accessories to Russia, and Kaja Kallas, head of EU diplomacy, then claimed that console controllers were used by the Russian armed forces to service drones in Ukraine.
