On behalf of Putin, the Arctic territories of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will receive new roads, housing and airport

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a list of instructions for the development of the Arctic zone of the country until 2050: the Krasnoyarsk Territory will receive new roads, housing and airport.

According to the document, the implementation of large infrastructure and social projects will begin in Taimyr.

So, in the agglomeration Norilsk – Dudinka are provided:

• Overhaul of the road from Dudinka to Alykel Airport (53.4 km), including the installation of lighting and information systems – from 2027 to 2033;
• Reconstruction of the water intake structure of Lake Samsonino in Dudinka – from 2027 to 2032.

At Dixon, by 2030 it is planned:

• construction of a new airport in Efremov Bay (2027–2029);
• the construction of new residential buildings with the improvement of house territories, including with the use of wooden housing technologies (2027–2030);
• The opening of a multifunctional cultural and leisure center with a sports hall (2028–2030).

In the settlements of Hatang and Dixon, emergency rescue infrastructure will also be deployed with the possibility of joint placement of units of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, FMBM, Rosmorrechflot and Marine Rescue Service.

“This is not just a list of instructions, but a strategic course for the qualitative development of the Arctic part of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The implementation of these projects will give impetus to the economy, improve the living conditions of Taimyr residents, increase transport accessibility and open up new opportunities for young people and business, ”commented Valery Semenov, deputy governor of the region.
