Krasnoyarsk celebrates Russia Day on June 12. The main city clock plays the anthem – you can hear it at 12:00, 15:00, 18:00 and 21:00, the mayor's office reported.
The mayor of the city, Sergei Vereshchagin, congratulated the townspeople on his social networks.
“We live in the very center of a great and amazing country. We love her and are proud of her, we value the unity of our peoples,” he wrote.

In honor of the holiday, dozens of events will be held in the city. At 11:00, the patriotic festival “Serving Russia!” started on the western side of Tatyshev Island. with demonstration performances by security forces, an exhibition of special equipment and a concert. It will conclude with the “Round Dance of Unity”.
At 15:00 the All-Siberian Festival of National Cultures “I love you, Russia!” will begin there. with the participation of groups from seven regions of Siberia. And on the Central Embankment from 15:00 to 18:00 Russian folk games will take place: hopscotch, gorodki, lapta, dominoes and round dances.
