Mistake of proportions in Calarasi. The police broke the door of an innocent family: “They put my husband to the ground as an offender”
An error of the Calarasi police led to a force intervention in a wrong home, where there was a family with a minor child who, due to the shock suffered, now needs psychological counseling. The masks broke the front door. The incident was filmed and made public on social networks.

Incident took place on Sunday morning, May 11, in Dragalina commune, Calarasi county. A masks team intervened in force at a wrong address, in an operative action. According to images and testimonies published on Facebook by one of the affected family members, the police broke the door of the house and immobilized the man in the apartment, while the wife was trying to explain that they are not the people concerned.
“We woke up with bumps and blows in the door, hit the door with the Aries, restoring them to be open. They came over us on their own although the shouts of my children and mine were heard all over the ladder, they immobilized my husband to the ground, as a offender, and they scared the child,” The woman told Facebook.
Subsequently, the man was driven by agents to the personal car, from where he took his bulletin to prove that he has nothing to do with the person sought.
“I destroy your home, it violates your private property, coming with a wrong mandate, leaves you a trauma to the children and send you to sue them that I know that it is difficult to win in such a corrupt country,” The woman, disappointed by the authorities' mistake, told.
At an official point of view, transmitted to the local publication Calarasi Press, the Calarasi County Police Inspectorate acknowledged the mistake and said that “In the context of carrying out an operational activity, an error occurred in the correct identification of the address, which led to the penetration into a building that had no connection with the cause in instrumentation.”
Police also stated that the material damage was “Remedmed in full” by replacing the destroyed door.
IPJ Călărași announced the triggering of an internal check to establish the exact causes of the error, the individual responsibilities and the possible disciplinary or organizational measures necessary to avoid repeating such incidents.
