Oliver Bearman (20 years old), the Haas pilot, was angry with the qualifications for the Grand Prize of Emilia-Romagna, where he was eliminated in a controversial way from the first phase.
The British man has succeeded in the tenth time in the session and should have advanced in Q2, but its tour was canceled because, according to the commissioners, it was concluded after the flutter of red flags. The resumptions, however, show that the Haas pilot has crossed the finish line before receiving the light indicator for the red flag.

The American team challenged the commissioners' decision, but after a careful analysis, they confirmed that the decision was correct. This, obviously, deeply dissatisfied Bearman, who will have to start from the 19th place in Imola, a circuit where the overruns are extremely difficult.

“We usually receive a bright indication on the steering wheel. In my case, this did not appear before I cross the finish line. If you look at Onboard shooting, it is clear that there is no red flag displayed when I pass the finish line. So I think it is unfair for this tour to be taken into account. I think once they have made a decision, even if it is wrong and this is obvious, they will not change it.
It's a little unfair. Unfortunately now I am at the tail of the ranking. We work hard, we invest a lot. We have new songs this weekend, which we have been working on for months. We had only one chance to demonstrate their potential. I took a tour in which I removed the maximum from the car, but we do not have the desired result, it is a sin, ”said Bearman.
