“On Saturday, until 1 pm, VotcoreCorect coalition has centralized a series of irregularities and incidents reported by observers and citizens through the Vote Monitor, Call Center 0800 460 002 and of the online platform www.votcorect.ro. The full list of complaints received on the correct vote platform is available at https://votcorect.ro/prezidential-2025/Sesizari/

Most notifications received from voters are related to posting photos with ballots with the marked electoral option and some organizational problems in the polling stations.

Numerous posts have been reported on the Tiktok network with ballots marked for one of the candidates – through the Votcorect.ro portal, over 100 notifications were sent on May 16 and 17 (until this hour), which you can consult here.

All are in favor of the candidate George Simion and, in addition to the obvious violation of the prohibition to photograph the ballot, they can be considered a continuation of the election campaign after its official conclusion ”transmits votcorect in a statement.

Until Saturday, May 17, at 12:00, the correct vote observers transmitted through the voting voting app of voting from over 70 polling stations abroad, most of the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. The observers monitored the opening of the sections in 61 polling stations, in which the process was carried out in good conditions, with no significant deficiencies being reported.

With one exception, the voting was evaluated (good or very good) in the visited sections.

However, in six of the sections observed by the organization the voting was carried out in a tense atmosphere or some actions to intimidate the voters or members of BESV-Liège 1, Issy-Les-Moulineaux, Agros, Heilbronn, Graz 2 and Bonn 2.

Near Section 838 in Zaragoza, the presence of groups of people who continue the campaign for the candidate George Simion was reported.

Also, in one of the sections, the positioning and dimensions of the cardboard voting booths did not ensure the secret of the vote. The observers also reported voltage or agitation near two polling stations (Groningen 1 – Holland and Graz 2 – Austria), a case in which the ballot was not properly sealed and the presence of unauthorized persons in two of the observed sections.

The observers appreciated that the premises were not suitable for four of the sections visited. Simpv worked under normal conditions in almost all cases. In three observers could not see without restrictions – Zurich, Groningen and Malmo. For the latter section, the correct vote also notified the electoral bureau for the polling stations abroad.
