The time to submit comments on the national e-invoice system (KSEF) ends. The Ministry of Finance is waiting until April 25, 2025 for the opinions of entrepreneurs. The system, which will start functioning from February 2026, will bring significant changes in the way the transaction is documenting by companies.

The Ministry of Finance reminds that by April 25, 2025, entrepreneurs can submit additional comments and opinions on the project of the national e-invoice system (KSEF), sending them to the following address: [email protected].
KSEF will enter into force from 2026.
The Ministry of Finance divided the introduction of changes into three stages. The schedule of implementing the national e-invoice system (KSEF) is as follows:
- from February 1, 2026 for large taxpayers, i.e. such sales for 2024, over PLN 200 million with tax,
- from April 1, 2026 for other entrepreneurs, except for the smallest “digitally excluded” taxpayers,
- from January 1, 2027 For companies issuing invoices for amounts not exceeding PLN 450, whose monthly sales do not exceed PLN 10,000. zloty.
RR VAT invoices documenting the acquisition of agricultural products from flat-rate farmers will be able to be issued in the system from April 1, 2026 to the end of 2026, the possibility of issuing invoices from cash registers will be maintained, as well as no penalties for errors related to invoicing via KSEF and no obligation to provide the KSEF number in payments for e-invoices.
The changes will include 2 million VAT taxpayers
The Ministry of Finance estimates that the designed changes will cover about 2 million active VAT taxpayers (at the end of 2024), including about 5,000 taxpayers who exceeded the turnover of PLN 200 million and about 755,000 entities exempt from VAT.
